Italian yacht builder Palumbo Superyachts has launched its first 26.2 metre Extra 86 model.
Sold to a repeat client, the yacht is the fourth to be built in the new series following the sales of the Extra 130, 93 and 76. The Extra 130 and Extra 93 models are also set to be imminently launched. All three models will be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

Designed inside and out by long term Palumbo collaborator Francesco Guida, the Extra 86 can accommodate eight guests in four cabins, including a full-beam master suite, one large VIP cabin and two twin guest cabins, all with ensuites.
The crew accommodation for a staff of three sits at the bow meanwhile and is accompanied by respective bathrooms.
Other features include a galley aft leading out to an outside dining area. The full beam living room meanwhile sits forward with large sofas and an extendable table. Large windows give the illusion of being in “a large crystal dome”, the builder said.

The 86 will also features a 50 square metre beach club, sundeck at the bow and cockpit spread across three levels.
Power will come from three Volvo Penta 735kw engines for a top speed of 30 knots.
The Extra design brief is aimed towards achieving maximum comfort, low fuel consumption on long range cruising and outdoor living spaces.
